as i try to say no
you look at me true
you want me to say yes
and that i love you

but that cant be the case
because i havent solved my puzzle
i dont see your picture in it yet
im not sure if your even there at all

you never know until you find the missing piece

i know you tried to make it work
i know you wanted it so bad
i know you thought
you thought you had the missing piece

too bad im not good at solving puzzles
it takes a very strategic mind
and a patient one as well

i see kids in my puzzle
and the dream job too
i see love in my puzzle
but im not sure with you

i never know till i find the missing piece
