Now Alone

Alone at home.
With barely anything to do.
All I can think about,
Is the times with you.

Watching the clock.
Minutes that seem like hours fly by.
Soon enough,
I start to cry.

Thinking about what we used to have.
Figuring out a new plan.
Now realizing that I'm alone.
And alone I'll always stand.

I want you back into my arms.
And if we are to get together.
I wont let you go.
I'd hold onto us forever.

Well, we used to be an us.
But that's long gone away.
The only thing I can do.
Is wonder if you'll come back today.

The time I thought I needed you.
Was meerly an excuse.
Just a small cry for freedom.
From an awful abuse.

Now when I really need you.
You think it's a lie.
That's why I'll stay home.
Just to wish and cry.
