a white flag in the distance
shows of the defeat of me
it's a sad world without them
but it's a cruel world with them
but still I can sit and watch from a distance
and hope that they can't see
that there are shattered tears on my face
and lonely dreams in my mind
I'm a holder of the lust and anger
but a victim of the hurt and pain
I'm watching the world crumble down
at the feet of those I loved
as they watch me crumble down
at the feet of those who once cared...
