Wink Of An Eye

My mind slips as I notice the knife and the bloodstained shirt,
Lying next to my bed, I see your picture,
When I see you a distant pain reminds me of your existence,
And how you ruined my life.
I always say I hate you, and that you should die one long, painful
Death, but than I realize I don’t hate you, not at all but that all this
Time you were trying to tell me, to let me know it wasn’t your fault, nor
mine.
I wish I listened, instead of being hurt. Bleeding heavily I watch myself in
the mear.
I write on a piece of paper:
Life is quick,
Love is short.
In a wink of an eye
Everything may turn black.

Than I close my eyes in reassurance that I did the thing that was
right for me.
Others may think I’m crazy, others may think I’m stupid.
But as far as I know, I did the right thing.
