I am writing you this letter
Because I simply can’t explain
A very simple task
That is driving me insane
I saw you the first time
You really caught my eye
An introduction was impossible
And no one knows why
The first thing I noticed
Was something rich and fair
To this day, I have no clue
Why I like your head of hair
I’ve never seen your smile
Or the way you laugh out loud
But the truth of the matter is
You stand out in this crowd
Please don’t be troubled
I’m not looking for romance
Cupid’s on vacation
Having had his last dance
There is one thing I need to know
That will bring eternal fame
My heart screams bitter sweetly
“I just want to know your name”
My mind will rest easy
With success firmly embraced
Knowing I’m put a name
With your beautiful face
Because when my thoughts were set
With judgments too absurd
You changed them, greatly
Without saying a word
When all hope was lost,
On what I thought was “right”
The thing I thought was wrong with girls
Was seen in different light
I don’t mean to sound brusque
But I shout around the clock
That I’ve never seen another like you
And I think you truly rock
I can’t thank you enough
For the impact that you’ve made
Because of you, the words rings true
“All prejudices can fade”
