Walking down a dirt road
I realize I have nowhere to go
I'm lost without a way home
I'm scared and afraid of losing control
Dragging my feet with unbearable pain
I'm too tired to move yet realize I must
I head for the hills that I spot ahead
I am so thirsty and hungry
But the earth is dry
I search for a spring
Or even a river
Something to drink from
Somewhere to start
My head slides to the side as I come to life
I realize I'm lost inside of my mind
Searching for something that I cannot find
I can't awake until I reach my destination
It seems impossible though I swear it's not
I reach the hills and then I fall
Back down the dirt road and to where I've started
I'm lost in my mind with no one to help
