You see her everyday
happy, cheerful, never afraid.
Her smile lights the room.
and eyes sparkle like dimands

But she hides a life of pain.
You dont see the tears that fall at night,
when she's alone.
You cant hear the yelling in her house.
You dont feel the emptiness she has inside

Pushing her pain aside,
her heart goes out to people in need.
Carrying on like nothings wrong.
but in the back of her mind,
she holds the life she hates.
