Alarm clock didn't go off
Stumbled out of bed
Wondering if I'm okay
Or am I just dead?

Toaster isn't working
Forgot the dry cleaning
Is today gonna be horrible
Or am I just dreaming?

Late for my job on the first day
Behind in paperwork
Lady in the next cubicle
Has way too much perk.

And I just want
To crawl in bed and hide
'Cause I need to escape
These depressing times that I bide.
