Still Caring

There's too much that you don't know
I wish you still cared like you did long ago
I used to be your sweet little girl
Now the things you say make me want to hurl
I'm sick and tired of you running my life
And see you weren't the one who told me to put down the knife
When I cried you weren't the one to wipe away my tears
When I screamed you weren't the one who took all of my fears
Now I sit here wondering why you can't understand
Why you have to sit there acting like nothing ever happened
Most days I sit here crying from the things that you say
Sometimes I wish that you would just go away
When I was little you told me to be strong and never give up
Whatever happened to all your love?
You weren't the one who caught me when I fell
Our life used to be like a wonderful fairytale
But see mom, I'm not saying I don't love you
Because I do
I'm just wondering
If you still love me too
