he knew he loved her
and couldnt live without her
for everytime he saw her
his heart always beat faster

she seemed so perfect to him
and didnt need the makeup
she was beautiful without it
she didnt need to dress up

he knew she loved him too
for everytime they were together
they'd get lost in eachothers eyes
he knew he could hold her forever

so he decided to ask the question
with shaking hands and stuttered lips
tears fell as she accepted
he cried out and hugged her hips

it seemed like eternity before the day
the day where happiness would reach its peak
anticipation was driving him crazy
his knees began to grow weak

but anticipation turned to fear
as they played the bridal song
and no bride walked down that aisle
it was a fantasy gone wrong

his heart got caught in his throat
as he began to choke
his family cried out for him
all his dreams lie shattered, broke

the church began to clear
for it was time to go
but he continued to wait
for the bride who would never show
for the bride who would never show. . .
