To Grow Once More.

When you left me
I soared through the sky
My wings spread
And I began learning
I’ve begun to open up
To show a side nobody has seen.

When you left me
I kept my head
High above the water
I breathed air freely
And gained so much more
I became one once more.

When you left me
I thought there’d be nobody else
But I have grown
And I’m ready to grasp
Somebody new with my wings
The wings that grew so much without you.
