Yank the switch off
and run into bed
deep silence burrying my head.
My heart beats faster
and I want to yell for my daddy
I'm scared of the dark
where all the mysterious creatures lurk
My heart begins to beat faster
I hear small noises as they begin to kill the silence

my
heart
beats
faster

I feel like it may pop out of my chest
maybe even just give up
I'm scared to uncover my head
maybe it will save me from the darkness

THE
PIERCING
SILENCE

ME COVERING MY HEAD

I'M SCARED TONIGHT

ME CURLED IN MY BED

HELP DAD!

I'M SCARED OF THE DARK!

Help someone!
But i'm afraid to call onto the dark
I'm afraid so afraid

come
help
me!!!

PLEASE TURN ON THE LIGHT!
