I layed in my bed resting my head
Hearing nothing but silence
the door downstairs opened and broke the silence
All kinds of horrible things ran through my head
I heard the stairs began to creek as he came up the steps
My heart began to beat faster louder
Then he reached my door.
I lay in bed resting my head
pretending to be asleep
in this pitch black nothingness there he stood
As he chuckled to himself
I thought...
to him i'm already dead
I opened my eyes a tiny bit afraid he'd see the glow in them
and there I seen a long skinny knife
He krept toward me
I knew if I didnt do anything I'd soon be dead
Right as he rose his hand to sweep my cheak
I shoved my fingers into his eyes
and slammed his head onto my bed
I ran for the closet and grabbed my bat
With no thought in my head than to save my own life
or soon I'd be dead
I swung at his head with all my might
there he dropped and rest his head as if almost dead
I switched the light on to see
it was my boyfriends head I swung at
there he was almost dead
quick I ran for help
and never realized the box in his other hand
the knife wasnt at all a knife but a rose
and his sweet chuckle was him laughing
at the suprise he had for me
He had a ring and was to ask we be wed
I told him i was sorry
I told him I thought he was a stranger
I told him I thought he wanted to kill me
I told him I loved him
I gave him a kiss and cryed my heart out
But all that is gone for he is now dead.
