Alone... Part 1

As the silver moon shines, and the sun says goodbye
A reflection of tears flow, as my lonely heart dies.
I look up to the stars, I sit and I stare.
Clasping my hands, I begin my prayer.

“Please God, I beg of you, don’t let me live in pain,
All I’m asking is to be with him, I’m asking once again...
“I’d risk my life, I’d give up my soul,
For I am nothing now, my heart isn’t whole...

You stole my angel, took away my light,
All I’m asking for, Is you give him back tonight.”
Tears blur my vision, the stars quietly fade
I threaten the world, I take out my blade.

The silver sharp object, is cold to the flesh
I pierce the skin, and watch the blood seep fresh.
“I can’t face the world, without him by my side.
My body remains, but my soul has already died.

“ My darling love, I beg you just wait
I’ll be there, I promise, I’ll meet you at the gate
I’ll listen out for the angels song.
Soon I’ll be where I belong...”
