If God granted me a wish
I'd ask for you back
I’d ask for your forgiveness
For the happiness that I lack
You were my happiness
You made me glad to be alive
If you were drowning in the ocean
Into the waters, I would dive
So many days have passed
So many hours have gone by
But I am still grieving
Sad, I still cry
Coming to school each morning
All I can think about is you
How we used to hang out
How I wish my wish would come true
I want you into my life again
But I don't want you unhappy with me
I want you to love life
To have a future you could actually see
Today I passed you in the halls
Noticed that I still have the habit of saying hi
For some reason I can't just act normal
Whenever you pass me by
I have this one wish
Though I could easily wish for more
I just want you mine again
To fix the heart that you once tore
I have this one wish
To have you here with me again
To fix all of my problems
To take away my sorrow and pain
I have but one wish
That only you can make come true
For the wish that I speak of
Is to live my life with you
