You’re stained with
Bruises of past loves,
And on your label
It says “easy”
Crying from overdrives
By depression.
In school, her nickname
Is sleazy.
But I see you,
Alone in your room,
Writing dreams
In the clouds,
Pasting them all
On your wall
Careful not to let them go.
For the past few years
All the dreams have faded
And they always fall.
Not much more to
Believe in now that
He’s gone.
But I’m here,
Yes, look to me
For help.
I love you,
My companion,
Turn to me always
For better days.
Never will I neglect you.
