Mom:
for all the times you sat by his side
i sat back and watched years fly
for all those years you spent in bed
i could have cared less about what you said
Dad:
with every vicous word you used toward me
my heart only sinks
with every sarcastic thing you say
my feelings only become more pointless in another way
for every second you laughed in my face
a piece of my confidence is erased
to think the thoughts i have
for the two of you
i only get enraged
to count the tears ive cried
is to count the stars in the sky
to say that i will ever heal
is to say that superman is real
to change the past is impossible
but to prevent repitition only happens with a change in heart
a change in heart only happens where it sits..within you
and from what you've proved..
its something youll never do
