Storm Of The Century

All the weather casters know, when a storm is about to come
They have there ways, There's reasons for telling you it will
So they say this one will be the storm of the century

But how do they know when that really will be
Is it not possible for a worse storm to come along?
Are they blinded by the egotistical belief that they have found the storm of
the century?

But whether its the storm of the century, it does not matter, I suppose
Any storm, no matter how bad, or small it may be
Is ever truly welcome

And do the weathercasters dare to be concerned of the damage of the storm
Or are they too busy being conceited because the found the "storm of a
century"
Will they be brutally awakened, when the storm hits them as well

Is there any storm of the century at all?
Pain, suffering, is that what earns the storm a title?
Wreaking havoc is what earns something a place in history?

The only storm of the century that there ever had been, is , or will be
Is the storm that does not come
For the storm that does not come,
Is the only one welcome in our hearts
In our souls
