Chose the wrong road,
Went down the wrong path.
Starting a fire, with out a match.
Wishing on a star that wasnt there.
Praying to a god that didnt seem to care.
And all those times I thought you'd be there.
You left my life with out saying you cared.
But I didnt give up, and I couldnt let go.
So I picked up the phone, nice and slow.
Tried not to shake as it rang, and rang.
Until I heard the voice that changed my life, forver in a day.
