My Uncared-for Grave

Walking along the sidewalk
Coming home from a hard day of school
Putting on a light jacket
It was starting to get cool.

Finally when I got home
I ran to my room and jumped on my bed
For I was so excited
That soon I would be dead.

I searched for scissors on my desk
Tears running down my cheek
At last I found the big pair
The pair of which I seek.

Sitting in my computer chair
Making cuts in my wrists
Digging the blades into my skin
Thinking when I die I won't be missed.

I dedicated each slit
To a problem in my life
One cut for the boys who make fun of me
Oohh I wish I had a knife.

One cut for each time my dad beat me that week.
One slit for each drug my mom takes.
One cut for all people who don't care.
One slit for each of my mistakes.

When I felt like I was finished
I'd gotten the pain I've craved
Dreaming of what would be written
On my uncared-for grave.
