I Wonder

I wonder
If I fall someday
And walk around your heart, a ways
I wonder, will you let me stay?
I could be your friend.

I wonder
If I walk someday
And let you tell me off, a ways
I could wave goodbye and cry away
But you’d still be my friend.

I wonder
If I love someday
And madness takes my head, a ways
And I think about it everyday
You’d still be my friend, right?

I wonder
If I die someday
And walk the clouds of hell, a ways
And fire licks my heels away
Would you still remember me?

I wonder
If we live someday
Another life, a life away
We’d be friends, and friends a ways
But would it be the same?

I wonder
Thing’s will get better, one day
We won’t stand here, waiting our lives away
And there you’ll be, and here I’ll stay
Because that’s just what friends do.
