I try you know,
I give all I can,
I try to fight,
I try to win,
Only to just fail in the end.
I had hope,
I had faith,
I have always fallen on my knees to pray,
I had all the strength,
I had all the will,
But now it’s all gone,
Like I just took a pill.
I’m not like all,
I can’t just breathe,
And suck in
All the lies people tell,
Who try to burn me thin.
Lies are like seeds,
They plant them in me,
Because I can’t see,
They grow,
And decieve,
To make me believe,
Everything,
Those words I speak,
‘cause I just sink,
smothered in sand,
I can’t reach your hand,
I’m falling again,
This time-
No where to land,
A second passed,
I’m fallin’ fast,
Two more feet,
And I won’t last.
