* I wrote after a trip to the morgue for my medical class, the impact of it
all, I had to write and this is what came out.

They layed there,
Helpless,
Like a face without a name,
No answers,
To questions,
They looked like they had pain.
A horror,
In reality,
Is what is was to me,
Corpses,
Pleading,
To just be let free.
Were their souls crying?
Did they know where they would be?
Grasping and begging,
To be judged with pity,
As their souls left their being,
Is that what youd see?
Their faces,
“My God!
Forever,
I will see.
They looked,
Like they were fighting,
Hoping,
To breathe.
Death is such-
A darkened word,
Full of fear,
And cold wind blurs,
Not a place of peace,
But a sound of screech,
your voice,
Too shocked,
To be heard.
A movie,
Is so little,
Compared to that,
You never want to make death
Youll be scared shitless,
Youd pray it wasn’t real.
To be scared like that,
Is like your last breath,
You grasp,
For a way to turn back.
There’s no way out,
Once you see that,
Youll watch comedies,
To keep your mind set.
Keep yourself in peace,
So your face will be pleased,
Die knowing,
God is who youll see.
