It's not the first time
Nor will it be the last
Certain feelings will come
Then they will pass

I wonder whats wrong
If it's something about me
Or maybe there's something
You fail to see

That I don't know
And neither do you
Which doesn't help me
Learn what to do

What is it
That needs changed about me
What do I need to do
To get you to see

That I'm worth your time
Or maybe more
Instead of passing me by
And closing that door

I can offer you many things
Such as protection
If you'll refuse to offer me one thing
And that is rejection
