All of these feelings
That I hold deep inside
For the sake of reality
I'm going to hide

I can't tell what's there
If anything at all
Because I know if I'm wrong
I'm going to fall

There's a difference in a want
And what's in a need
Just like there's a difference between reality
And what is only a dream

While this poem here
May be confusing to you
I know how every written word
Applies to this heart true

It's a jumble of feelings
And vague little thoughts
They come across as confusing
And a little distraught

So I'll end it now
Before I lose you more
And so I can throw these feelings
Right out the door
