Unfortunate faerie
So lost and alone
Her wings are broken
At agony's throne
So much pain disguised as grief
She's smothered with lies
From her head to her feet
Shattered dreams
A scattered fate
Confusing emotions
Directed by hate
Pausing there
In redemption's doorway
Outside Hell's boundaries
That test her faith
Try her conscience
Uncover the bruise
Light the wire
But cut the fuse
It makes no sense
No account of reckoning
Her head is pleading
Her heart is beckoning
Her sight is blinded
By accusing stares
Her throat is dry
With the lies that were shared
The tears start to fall
To the beating of the rain
They plunge to the ground
With every sob of her pain
It makes no difference
If she tries to hide
The demons dissemble
All the love that's inside
All the happiness she felt
When she was once content
No longer bruised
Broken, or bent
No longer angry
Or dead to the world
No longer a faerie
But a sad young girl
Depressed, lonely
Broken hearted and hurt
Her eyes show the lies
Through uspoken alert
The unfortunate faerie
Continues to wait
With her broken wings
And shattered dreams
With blood stained hands
Of happiness's fate...
