There goes the U.S. men and women off to war,
They should be our hero's, whom we should adore.
You may think nothing of them, forget they are even there,
But they are out there fighting, giving their lives to spare.
Millions you have never met fought and died for you,
What about their loved ones, their lives, they matter too.
Just for a moment picture the war zones,
Dead innocent civilian's lying there, you hear a few moans.
The moans slowly and painfully fade away with the rest,
From the bullet, unexpectedly put into their chest.
Bloodiness, gunfire, army plans, screams and cries,
Their loved ones never got to say their last and final good-byes.
Tanks getting blown up, plans getting shot out of the air,
Does any of this make you a little more aware?
Family, friends, and relatives leave, are they are coming back?
Do you know this feeling? It is like you life will crack.
Remember anyone who has died is someones old friend,
Many peoples heart will have something missing, for heaven their pal
ascend.
Just give the soldiers some thought, love, and keep them in your mind
everyday,
Be nice and loving, because you never know when a soldier or loved ones
lives will suddenly slip away.
