I close my eye's
And think of you and me.
The two of us together.
I dream of smiles,
Holding hands,
Long conversations,
And maybe a kiss or two.
But when I open my eye's,
It's back to reality.
It takes me a minute to realize
It's all just a dream.
Why can't my dreams become
Reality?
Everyday I can't wait to see you,....
Well, in my dreams that is.
Because in reality you are so out of my reach.
You do not have the same feelings.
I see you all the time when I'm awake.
And it hurts so much to
Know that you are only mine,
In my dreams.
