You always made me smile
Or laugh with glee
You always lent a hand
Just to help me

You always seemed so melencholy
But your inside was so lively
It's like your image and your soul
Were fighting worse then sibling rivalry

And when you liked my girl
I was fine with it all
You really seemed to like her
But I knew it was your downfall

And when she rejected you
I really tried to be kind
But it didn't help
She always seemed to be on you mind

And then we lost contact
We seemed to drift apart
You seemed really mad
And our silence drove a stake through my heart

But why did you have to die
And leave me all alone
You made me sad and miserable
From hearing just one word over the phone

And what's that word you ask?
It's actually quite sad
Many commit it
And others threaten to do it when they are mad

This word tore my life apart
And made my world crash
This word is S-U-I-C-I-D-E
And it means my life changed in a flash

Why didn't I seem to see it
That deathly glimmer in your eyes
I wished I had noticed the signs
So I wished I had been wise

This poem is in your memory
I hope it makes people think twice
Because my life is so terrible with out you
Because of your mistake you made me pay the price
