I look around at this big world I’m in,
It makes me feel so blind.
I understand nothing within.
I cry out to everyone I see
“Don’t you see the war we are in?!
Don’t you understand how important it is to breathe?”
I cry at their deafness.
For I know they will never see.
I have gone against my odds,
I have broken through to see.
I now understand,
That no one will ever be free.
And that we are all captured by our souls.
And without are souls,
We are nothing within.
This has been a long journey to understanding.
And a long road to knowledge.
But still,
We are still trapped,
Trapped by our own souls,
That will never let us free.
