I thought he meant it,
When he told me that he loved me,
I thought he cared,
That I loved him.
I thought our love,
Would last forever.
I thought we had a love,
A love so true and pure,
A love that anything,it could endure.
I told him that I loved him,
He said he loved me too,
He promised he would never leave,
That he would never leave my side,
But then he told me he was leaving,
And never coming back.
I pleaded and begged him not too,
But it took to no avail,
For our picture perfect love,
Was nothing but a fairy tale.
