im alone, but i hear voices
that no one else could hear
im safe with in my bed now
but i still lay awake in fear

night after night i wonder
thru the darkend halls within my
home
everyone is sleeping
but i know im not alone

behind me moves a shadow
in a room completely still
they never stop their talking
so listen closer if you will

my blankend stare, it scares me
as i gaze into the mirror
my ears, so tightly covered
but the voices, i still hear

but as i start to comprehend it
the voice is just for me
not and evil, shadow nightmare
but a friend...only i can see
