Loving you might be a mistake,
But it’s one I’m willing to make.

I’m risking the fact,
That you might never love me back.

If it’s the case that you do,
I know our love will be true.

But if it’s just friends that you want to be,
Don’t worry you won’t have hurt me.

So a mistake would loving you been,
If you were to only be a friend?

The more I think I think not,
Because in this experience I’ve been taught,

That not all hopes and dreams come true,
But it’ll be worth it when they do.
