I walked you home and felt your embrace.

There was a chance we would never speak again.
- I was scared that this was the end.
We said our goodbyes, as you walked away.
- I left that day, but wanted to stay.

A few weeks passed, we spoke again.
- I was shocked, yet glad, that we had this chance to be friends.
We had conversations, as days went on they grew.
- You told me things that I never knew.
My feelings for you grew stronger.
- I wanted to be with you even longer.
I missed you more and more each day.
- My feelings left me speechless, with no words to say.

Though there’s distance, I still want more.
- We keep in touch, and it’s you I wait for.
A year goes by, being with you is a must.
- A year later, the question lingers..
