I want to write a poem to describe a love so true,
But how do you describe a love like you?
You’re not like anyone that I have ever know before,
Unlike others you are someone I adore,

You may not be a knight in shinning armor,
Or a flirtatious romantic charmer,
You may not shower me with necklaces or rings,
But I don’t love you for such things,

I love you because you changed me,
Your calm gentle ways have set me free,
You deep amber eyes are understanding,
And your firm ways are commanding,

You have forced me to become someone new,
It was a change that was long overdue,
You forced me to bend and accept what came,
You forced me to have responsibility even if I had to take the blame,

I love you because you helped me move on,
You helped me to see the new rising dawn,
You made me bloom like a beautiful flower,
You made me understand the meaning of power,

You did all this in such a short time,
Now my life is so sublime,
I am empowered to do things,
And I’m finally spreading my wings,

The best thing is your talent is not wasted on only me,
I know many that would agree,
You are a champion through and through,
You help disabled children and befriend them too,

Many may think I’m a little odd for loving you,
But what they say does not matter because I still do,
I might be loving a horse,
But I won’t feel any remorse,

So as you can see the poem is nearly done,
But I’m not sure I wrote what I had in mind when I had begun,
Like I said a love like you is hard to place,
I wanted the poem to come out beautiful and not a disgrace,
Who knows if this is what I wanted to say,
All I know is that my love for you is so true but in words this love is hard
to convey.

***this poem goes out to my horse…of course (there is a picture of him in my
profile) he is the best thing that ever happened to me…he is kind gently and
well yea perfect! I don’t think this poem gives him justice but I tried…I
hope you like it and I hope you all find some perfect someone who makes you
life the best life ever! Mine my not be a human but he is still the best
