I walked in and saw your face.
It was a new job, it was a new place,
a fresh start.
I thought I was smart,
but inevitably
stupidity
found me,
enraptured me in your kisses,
and filled me with happiness.
As time passed,
I got to know your past,
and now I know that
this kiss has to be the last.
