As I sit and listen to the waves,
Calling me back home,
I pray Dear God,
Never do I wish to be alone,

But I sit here awaiting thee,
Wondering about tomorrow ,
Hoping to one day see,
You're true heart I may borrow,

If only Your Love would carry me,
To a place where I feel safe,
Oppossed to where I am right now,
If only to see Your face,

As I sit and listen to the waves,
Wondering where You are,
I pray Dear Lord, God Almighty,
