Shattered Friends

We called each other everynight,
just to tell each other not to let the bed bugs bite.
We told each other no lies,
always had crushes on the same guys.
I met him the same day as you,
he didn't realize it but he tore our friendship in 2.
I wish I could take all of this back,
let him just get you in the sack.
But instead I wanted it to be me,
I even think I might have wanted you to see.
But when you walked in on us,
and you started to cuss.
I wanted to go back to before him,
when our friendship was filled to the rim.
But now I sit here with an empty glass,
wishing I would've had some class.
