I stepped on the ground,
the soil was rough,
All I saw was blood,
I knew I had to be tough,
I stared at our flag we used to be free,
It was torn and ripped,
What was once will never be,
People were screaming and yelling too,
I sobbed my hands,
There was nothing I could do,
I looked at my home,
It was covered in Fire,
I walked away,
Cold and Tired,
I heard a click,
I knew soon I'd be dead,
When I heard the fire,
I lay in god's bed,
The clouds were soft and he dressed me in white,
I knew I was in heaven,
For i saw the light,
I looked at my pencil and wrote on my pad,
Those are just words of the war we never had...
