"A Speck of Hope"

I felt trapped between two walls,
Unable to get out,
Unreachable,
To be saved,
And too tired to breathe.

I’ve been here way too long,
My fears,
Haunted my thoughts,
I was beginning to loose it all,
Until,
Hope came hovering above.

Now I have a chance,
A glimpse,
I may escape,
Energy to give me some strength,
That I may last longer,
Than a day.

There is a drop of joy,
That I’ve never had,
It hopes to flood my soul,
If this good,
Rules the bad.

A miracle it will be,
If I can finally see,
The person I was before
In the reflection in front of me.
