Summer In Cincinnati

laying poolside
back home in cincinnati
basking in the sun
awaiting tonight

its midnight swim
back home in cincinnati
everyone will be there
running in flip flops
giggling on the courts
making stories to be told
stories to save until next summer
stories to keep summer alive

treading in the deep end
back home in cincinnati
laughing so hard we're sinking
grabing on the floats to survive
its a funny sight for the parents
who sit scatterd around
trying not to fall asleep at this hour

we keep the summers speacial
back home in cincinnati
and we save the memories we get
to keep our summers alive
