I don’t believe in reason,
And I don’t believe in light,
Not when I’m trapped behind treason,
Not when I know I can’t fight,

I can’t overcome confusion,
And I can’t overcome fear,
As I’m blind to these intrusions,
I can’t control these tears,

Why am I crying and why am I dieing,
Why am I giving all of myself away,
Why are you shifting, why are you lying,
Why do I believe everything you ever say?

When will this end,
When will I be blessed in seeing,
And when does fate bend,
So that I can stop bleeding,

How do you look into my eyes,
How do you touch me with truth,
When your touch is a lie,
And so am I.
