My Daddy
My Daddy is gone now, but let it be, he was loving as you will read...
Daddy had to fight the war, it made it hard to be free.
We went fishing and had our days that meant so much to a little one.
You would spend time with me for I loved you daddy for your love was for
eternity.
The doves came and got you that day so long ago. For it was time for you
to go.
They stayed around for three days I belive it was for you to say that you
love us and I'll be ok I will see you some other day. It's been
years sence you went away but I won't forget you I will say.
I know you will be there when it's my time, and the dove will come
to carry me away and you will be there wanting to say I told you I would
see you another day and I'm now home eternaly. I always will love
you my Daddy and I miss you I will say.
