Today you called
and I didn’t know what to say
should I of said your
on my mind each and every day

today you said
you loved me and I had said it too
I just feel that those kind of words
aren’t good enough to give to you

today I thought
I’d tell you how much you meant to me
but I was too scared
for I thought you’d never believe

today I cried
and thoughts of you ran through my head
and those tender words came back
that I should have said

today you asked
what the heck was wrong
and then you asked me
to sing you my favorite song

today you gave me
all of your heart and soul
and I wanted to say
you make my life so completely full

today I got in trouble
but I didn’t really care
because I was talking to you
and I was unaware

today I felt
like I just fell in love
my whole world got brighter
and without you life would be tough

today I think
I finally found out
my heart and mind
haven’t any doubts

that you’re the one for me
I love you so much
