The Things We Do When No One's Around

Darkened eyes fall upon her milk white flesh
Not one sign of movement nor any breath
Tonight blood shall spill and thou shall fall
Weakness for no one and no mercy at all

An innocent creature feasted upon by one
The blood thirsty being of darkness become
A lingering soul torturous behold
Carved into the burning soul, mourning alone

In this shadowed world of death and hard grounds
The things some do when no ones around
This sick addiction with cutting our wrists
Was once relieving but now there just slits

The slaughtering of innocent children and others
Raping of young women not fit to be mothers
Us so powerless left to take this pain
We who are not the ones to blame
For evil consumes any ray of light
This world of hatred, consumed by the night
