Their once was a boy named ted,
who had a clock for a head.
He laid in bed, and often said,
"It'd be better if i was dead"

Now Ted made a friend named Fred,
his body was made of lead.
He really would dread. if you said,
"Hey, your body looks like a shed."

Next appeared the one named Ed,
he was strange and made of thread.
His string was red, and he once said,
"He caught me, but then i fled."

Then along came a kid named Ned,
he came riding on a sled.
He then led, and sturnfully said,
"Follow and you will be fed."

So they all followed, and the kid led,
but they were tricked and they were bled,
and finally eaten by the kid named Ned.
So he was fed, and died after he said,
"Oh dear, I'm allergic to lead."
