Can you hear
The silent sobbing
Come from the trembling body
From scars of past wounds
And wounds freshly anew?

Can you taste
The salty sweetness
Of the trickeling tears
Protruding from a flooding eye
Blinded by pain and emotion?

Can you feel
The warm blood trickle down
Creeping from a new cut
caused by anger and hate,
broken friendships, broken hearts?

Can you smell
The blood, sweat, and tears
So cleverly intertwined
The scent unknown to the happy
Unknown to the content?

Can't you see
The fallen angel with
Trembling body and tear stained cheek?

No one knows she's there
With cuts so cleverly hidden
The Pain hidden behind a mask.

The angel has always been there
Just waiting for someone to find her
Just waiting for someone to mend her broken wings.
