Midnight Walk

Quiet subtle nights like these
Only bring thoughts of you
As the slow, refreshing wind
Whispers your name into my ear
During my midnight walk

Alone in the discrete darkness,
I yearn to be with you
Longing to hold your warm, loving eyes
In my own

Aching to feel your tender touch
That takes me to a far off land
Where I can escape from my problems
And concentrate on the immeasurable happiness
You never cease to bring me

The dimly lit stars shine down on my midnight walk
Making my path threw the dew dropped grass
Easier to follow.

Gazing up at the moon, peacefulness overcomes me
And the thought of you regenerates in my mind.
I feel closer to you and at ease
Just thinking of the possibility
That your eyes could be set upon the same thing mine are.
