The Brink

You’ve pushed me to the brink
And I no longer seem to care
Oh! but what you do not know
That I pound fists of despair

How worried I am for you
And your midnight games
I dream of finding you wreckless
Engulfed by wicked flames

Of course it’s just a nightmare
But the root of fear is real
How can I be so frustrated
When there’s nothing left to feel?

You’ve left me angry with you
Clawing at your worthless voice
You are so ignorant, my dear
You leave me weak without a choice

Can’t you see you’re hurting me?
I think of you when I see rain
I cannot seem to forgive myself
For letting you close to the point of pain

Are you truly worth it, friend?
Some days I lose grip and think
But if not, I can’t get away…
Because you’ve got me on the brink
