How dare you tell me how to act
How to speak, how to be a friend
How to be supportive, how to take your back

How dare you think you run me
Like a dog being pulled on a chain
I don't have to be what you want, I really don't have to be

How dare you treat this friendship like a light switch?
You can't turn me on and off like you pay some bill
I do what I want when I want, I speak what I feel

How dare you try to make me feel bad for being me
I am not a puppet,
And you know I don't have strings

How dare you fake like you are my friend!
You've talked about me, behind my back,
Afraid to say it to my face

But most of all, how dare you take my kindness for weakness
